Venetian Glass
For over 1,000 years, the art of glass blowing has been passed down through generations or artisians on the island of Murano, just north of Venice, Italy. Today, Venetian glassblowers are still considered the world's finest producers of glass chandeliers, vases, wine stoppers, and - lucky for us - jewelry.

Each piece in our Venetian Glass collection is painstakingly hand formed by an expert craftsman - making it a unique, wearable work of art. The first step in the process is to create individual "color canes" using a precise mixture of sensitive chemical compounds. The color canes are heated to a molten state, then manipulated and mixed with other colors through a complex layering process.
Flecks of gold and silver are sometimes added to the piece for additional dimension and brilliance. The result is a dazzling swirl of luminous color that seems to shine from within...allowing us to create one of the most captivating collections ever sold at Helzberg Diamonds.
